The Orthopedic department provides pre- and postoperative care for orthopedic patients, where pain relief and mobilization play a significant role in the care process. We are now looking for a nurse to join the team. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-01-12.

Nurse for Orthopedic Department 14, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work together in a team to provide patients with good care. Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Pre- and postoperative care
• Preventive work regarding the risk of pressure ulcers, falls, and malnutrition
• Standard nursing tasks on a care ward
• Mobilization and rehabilitation
• Pain relief and rehabilitation are a significant part of the tasks

Training will take place within the team with more experienced staff. Internal training will also be offered, and we actively work to strengthen competence in orthopedics.

The work includes day and evening shifts, as well as weekend work 2 out of 5 weekends.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
